New for this release:
- I think I fixed the issues with the evolution scene. Evolution is no longer halted in the woods, and Cynthia gives you TM's ASAP after evolution happens. This should prevent issues with the game forgetting what pokemon you have and what moves it knows.
- Battles have HP boxes! Their design is still very basic and doesn't resemble the UI in the main series game, so I'm probably going to redesign them at some point. Right now the important thing is that they function properly.
- Adjusted the way revisiting the pokemon center after Monday plays out, so the player can't skip getting information there.
- Resized pretty much every single sprite in the game. Some of the minor characters are still using placeholder art that looks even worse now. Their replacement is my next priority.
- Lots of small changes to when/where sprites fade/move etc. A couple new sounds to go with them, too!
- Some scenes have new backgrounds, mainly involving chairs.
- Added some new options involving going places with your pokemon already evolved.
- Based on feedback I moved the dialog box back to the bottom.
- Changed the font for dialogue and names. There was nothing wrong with Ren'Py's defaults, I just stubbornly didn't want to use the default because it was the default.
- Added information and credits to the About page! This should have been in the 1.0 release, I just forgot about it.
